Clerical/Administrative <br />• Administrative Assistant <br />After a temporary position is identified by the City, the selected firms may be <br />asked to provide resumes of candidates. The candidates may be asked to <br />interview with Engineering or Water Resources Division supervisors. <br />CITY RESPONSIBILITIES <br />• The City will provide the consultant with all records in the possession of City, <br />WHICH will be of assistance to the consultant in the performance of the work. <br />• The City will provide a workstation for each temporary employee. <br />TENTATIVE SCHEDULE <br />Issue Request for Proposal (RFP) October 31, 2002 <br />Submit Proposals November 12, 2002 <br />Award Contracts December 02, 2002 <br />Proposals are due in the office of the Executive Director, Public Works <br />Agency, at 20 Civic Center M-36, 1st Floor, Santa Ana, ATTN: SOURI <br />AMIRANI, on or before 5:00 p.m., November 12, 2002. <br />ISSUING OFFICE <br />Santa Ana Public Works Agency, Office of the Executive Director, 20 Civic <br />Center, 41h Floor, Santa Ana, California 92701. <br />CONTRACT CONSIDERATION <br />Since total actual cost cannot be pre -determined, an hourly rate for each <br />temporary employee shall be negotiated. <br />PROPOSAL REJECTION <br />The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals submitted, and is not <br />liable for any pre -contractual expenses: <br />Pre -contractual expenses are defined as expenses incurred by the offeror in: (a) <br />preparing the proposal in response to this RFP; (b) submitting that proposal to <br />the City; (c) negotiating with the City in any matter related to this proposal; (d) <br />any other expenses incurred by offeror prior to date of award, if any, of the <br />contract. Offeror shall not include any such expenses as part of the price as <br />proposed in response to this RFP. <br />
