AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR PROVISION OF SERCH ENGINE AND LEGAL DATABASE SERVICES THIS AMENDMENT, made and entered into this 9 D --r;A. day of September, 2005, by and between the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation duly organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of the State of Cali fomi a ("City"), and Lexis Nexis'Lc. The City and the Consultant entered that certain agreement dated July I" 2004, hereinafter referred to as "said Agreement", for Consultant to provide legal search system software and services. B. The parties hereto now desire to extend the Term and increase Compensation terms of said Agreement in order to provide continuous uninterrupted services under the terms of said Agreement. WHEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective covenants and promises hereinafter contained and made, and subject to all of the terms and conditions of said Agreement as hereby amended, the parties hereto do hereby agree as follows: I. Section I of said Agreement pertaining to "Term" of said Agreement shall be extended to terminate on September 30, ~ r.;;;;;.. 2.0DlR. ~ 2. Section 2 of said Agreement pertaining to Compensation shall be increased in an amount not to exceed $7,000.00 with an amount not to exceed $580.00 per month. 3. Except as hereinabove modified, the terms and conditions of said Agreement and all Exhibits thereto remain unchanged and in full force and effect.
