Programs will include an "Early <br />Birds" program that will provide a summer day camp experience, swimming lessons, daily free <br />lunch, a teen volunteer program, computer learning activities and life skills programs. <br />Program goalsinclude- <br />• A minimum of 100 youth will enroll in the Early Birds program. <br />• A minimum of 100 youth will increase their swimming ability by one level. <br />• A minimum of 50 teenage youth will participate in the Teen Summer Volunteer program, <br />volunteering a minimum of 50 hours each. <br />• A minimum of 66 youth will participate in life skills programs focusing on drug, alcohol <br />and gang- prevention as well as health- education activities. <br />• A minimum of 66 youth will participate in computer learning activities including <br />NetSmartz online internet safety program. <br />• An average of 82 youth will receive a free lunch daily. <br />Youth participants will be between the ages of 6 -18, will be Santa Ana residents, and will come <br />from moderate to low- Income families. <br />�x" A <br />
