COMMENTS <br /> <br />90.A. PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br />Sean Mill, 617 S. Starboard, addressed Council regarding traffic <br />impediments on Second Street, between Garfield and Standard Streets. <br /> <br />Ed Dart, owner of The Hot Dogger, a Hot Dog Street Vending Company, <br />addressed Council regarding the delay in receiving a staff report <br />addressing changes to City ordinances pertaining to hot dog vendors. <br /> <br />John Raya, 4618 W. Hollyline, addressed Council regarding his concern for <br />maintaining the spirit of the City's recent density reduction <br />legislation. He also expressed interest in seeing a City policy on <br />immigration. <br /> <br />90.B. CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Councilmember Pulido requested input from those people viewing the City <br />Council meetings as to whether they would want to also view the <br />Redevelopment Agency meetings. He also asked staff to prepare a cost <br />analysis of telecasting the Redevelopment Agency meetings. <br /> <br />CLOSED SESSION <br /> <br />At ll:40 p.m., the Council recessed to Closed Session. The Assistant <br />Clerk of the Council announced the Council was recessing to Closed Session <br />pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(A) to confer with the City <br />Attorney regarding pending litigation which had been initiated formally <br />and to which the City was a party, to wit, Reimer vs. City of Santa Ana <br />(Workers Compensation), and Silliphant vs. City of Santa Aha (Workers <br />Compensation); pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(B)(1) regarding <br />litigation of significant exposure; and pursuant to Government Code <br />Section 54957.6 to meet with its designated representatives regarding <br />labor relations matters. <br /> <br />At 11:56 p.m., the Council reconvened with all Councilmembers present, <br />except Mayor Young <br /> <br />CLOSED SESSION REPORT <br /> <br />MOTION: Authorize the settlement of Reimer vs. City of Santa Ana (Workers <br /> Compensation) in a stipulation in the amount of $20,055.00. <br /> <br />MOTION: May SECOND: Pulido <br /> <br />VOTE: AYES: <br /> NOES: <br /> ABSENT: <br /> <br />Acosta, Griset, Hart, May, McGuigan, Pulido <br />None <br />Young FILE 410.10 <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />148 <br /> <br />MAY 18, 1987 <br /> <br /> <br />
