<br />(b) All Solid Waste collected by CONTRACTOR within the CITY shall not be commingled in <br />equipment and/or vehicles used by CONTRACTOR, whether such equipment and vehicles are owned <br />by or licensed to CONTRACTOR pursuant to Section 11 herein, with Solid Waste from any other <br />jurisdiction or person from outside the CITY limits; however, in the event of an emergency vehicle <br />breakdown, a vehicle from a neighboring jurisdiction may complete the route of the vehicle which <br />broke down. In this case, the CONTRACTOR must notify the CITY in writing within twenty four (24) <br />hours of such emergency breakdown and must also provide the CITY with the allocation of tonnages <br />contained in the vehicle. <br /> <br />5. COLLECTION HOURS: <br /> <br />(a) All collections from residential areas shall be made between the hours of6:00 a.m. and 6:00 <br />p.m. Collections from commercial and industrial locations greater than 100 feet from residential units <br />may start at 3:00 a.m. and must terminate by 9:00 p.m., however, if complaints are received from such <br />residential units, the Executive Director may direct that collections in such areas shall be made between <br />the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and in that event CONTRACTOR agrees to comply with such <br />order. <br /> <br />(b) Notwithstanding section (a) above, Solid Waste collected pursuant to Section 13 hereto <br />shall be collected pursuant to the provisions contained therein. <br /> <br />6. HOLIDAYS: <br /> <br />Where, on a given route, the day of collection would be a legal holiday, CONTRACTOR shall <br />collect along said route on the work day next following said legal holiday and collection on each day <br />during said holiday week shall be similarly delayed one day. Legal holidays for the pmpose of this <br />Agreement shall be New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving <br />Day, Christmas Day and such other days as may be mutually agreed upon in advance by the parties. <br /> <br />7. FREQUENCY OF COLLECTIONS: <br /> <br />The Contractor will collect all Solid Waste from all areas ofthe CITY at least once each week <br />and in addition will provide more frequent service for those Customers using the Bin Services or Roll- <br />Off Services supplied by CONTRACTOR if requested by a Customer or if required by the CITY. <br />Contractor shall provide additional collection services as set forth in Sections 14 (e) and (t). <br /> <br />8. MAINTENANCE OF SCHEDULES: <br /> <br />Presently existing routes, schedules and times for collection of Solid Waste shall be maintained <br />but may be changed by authorization of the Executive Director and at least one week's advance <br />notification by CONTRACTOR to occupants of the buildings in the area where the changes are to be <br />made. <br /> <br />9.
