MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />JULY 6, 1987 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 2:22 p.m., in Room 423, City Hall, <br />20 Civic Center Plaza, by Mayor Dan Young. Councilmembers present were <br />John Acosta, Ron May, Patricia A. McGuigan, Miguel A. Pulido and Mayor <br />Young. Also present were City Manager David N. Ream, City Attorney Edward <br />J. Cooper and Clerk of the Council Janice C. Guy. <br /> <br />Councilmembers Wilson B. Hart and Daniel E. Griset joined the meeting at <br />2:23 p.m. and 2:32 p.m. respectively. <br /> <br />COUNCIL STUDY SESSION <br /> <br />Presentation of 1987-88 City Budget <br /> <br />Public Works Agency <br /> <br />Executive Director David Grosse presented the mission statement of the <br />Agency; five-year goals of the Agency's major divisions, Maintenance <br />Services, Engineering Department, Construction Department, Transportation <br />Department, Administrative Services Division, and Public Works Enterprise <br />Management; and introduced the Public Works Management team. <br /> <br />Steve Bucknam, Project Management Director, indicated the Agency had <br />recently undergone a major reorganization, and explained his <br />responsibilities and project management procedures. <br /> <br />Public Works staff showed a video presentation narrated by City Engineer <br />Robert Eichblatt, which demonstrated the City's infrastructure program, <br />and projects planned for the coming fiscal year. <br /> <br />The Mayor requested that arterial widening be a subject for further <br />discussion at a future Council meeting. <br /> <br />At 3:08 p.m., the Council recessed and reconvened at 3:30 p.m., with all <br />Councilmembers present. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 183 JULY 6, 1987 <br /> <br /> <br />
