<br />Albert Grover & Associates <br /> <br />Introduction/Project Organization <br /> <br />CITYWIDE ENGINEERING AND TRAFFIC SURVEY <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />Albert Grover & Associates (AGA) possesses all of the necessary qualifications and <br />experience required to successfully complete the Engineering and Traffic Survey <br />Proj ect proposed by the City of Santa Ana. We fully understand the importance to the <br />. City of establishing and justifYing the speed limits within the City, of collecting and <br />analyzing various traffic operational data, and of providing a computerized data base <br />of this information in a timely fashion. Staff of AGA have successfully completed <br />many projects similar to the project proposed herein. We realize the importance of the <br />current project to the City and the importance of our completing the project on time <br />and in a manner that meets all the requirements of the City. <br /> <br />PROJECT ORGANIZATION <br /> <br />The project organization is as shown in Figure I. The Project Manager for this project <br />will be Mr. Mark H. Miller, P.E. He will be assisted by Mr. John Taylor, Senior <br />Design Engineer and Mr. Chad Veinot, Transportation Engineering Associate. The <br />subconsultant for this project will be Transportation Studies, Inc. (TSI), who will <br />conduct the radar speed surveys. <br /> <br />All project team members, including the subconsultant, will work as a team and will <br />apply their administrative and technical abilities to the fullest extent to achieve the <br />objectives of the project. A brief summary of the qualifications of key members of the <br />team is given below: <br /> <br />Mark H. Miller: Ex~cutive Vice President of AGA, Mr. Miller will be the Project <br />Manager for conducting this study. Prior to joining AGA, Mr. Miller was the Vice <br />President/Senior Traffic Engineer at Mohle, Grover & Associates, where he served as <br />the Project Manager for the Cities of Cerritos, La Habra and Cypress Speed Zone <br />Surveys. In addition to being AGA's Project Manager for the previous Santa Ana <br />Speed Survey Project, Mr. Miller also served as Principal-in-Charge and/or Project <br />Manager for AGA's Speed Zone Survey Projects in the Cities of Santa Fe Springs, <br />Ontario, Buena Park, Lancaster, Palm Springs, Santa Clarita, Santa Monica, and <br />Fountain Valley. All of these surveys were completed on-time and within budget. <br />Additionally, Mr. Miller previously was the City Traffic Engineer for the City of <br />Pomona and Assistant Engineer (Traffic) for the City of Pasadena. Mr. Miller is a <br />registered Civil Engineer, a registered Traffic Engineer, and is certified as a <br />Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) in the State of California. <br /> <br />1 <br />
