At 9:19 p.m., the Council recessed and reconvened at 9:33 p.m. <br /> <br />75.C. AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 993 <br /> <br />Filed by Carl Karcher Enterprises, Inc. to rezone property located at 1430 <br />E. 17th Street from the R1 (Single-Family Residence) to the C5 (Arterial <br />Commercial) District to allow the addition of a drive-through window to an <br />existing facility. <br /> <br />Recommended for approval by the Planning Commission on October 26, 1987, <br />by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: Godinez, <br />NOES: Sizemore <br />ABSENT: Casteix <br /> <br />Uno, Chavez-Gomez, Spevacek, Miller <br /> <br />Legal Notice published in the Register November 23, 1987, and mailed <br />November 20, 1987. <br /> <br />The Mayor opened the public hearing at 9:33 p.m. regarding Amendment <br />Application No. 993. <br /> <br />Presentation of Staff report, Planning Commission recommendation and staff <br />comments by Charles View, Assistant Planner, indicating the purpose of the <br />rezoning was to reconcile the actual land use with the zoning and General <br />Plan designations for the site. <br /> <br />The Clerk of the Council reported no written communications. <br /> <br />There were no speakers on the matter. <br /> <br />The Mayor closed the public hearing at 9:36 p.m. <br /> <br />MOTION: l) Approve and file Negative Declaration and place the following <br /> ordinance on first reading and authorize publication of title: <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO.
