PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />75.A. UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 25 <br /> <br />Legal Notice published in the Orange County Reporter on December 21, 1987, <br />and mailed December 18, 1987. <br /> <br />At 7:37 p.m., the Vice Mayor opened the public hearing regarding <br />Underground Utility District No. 25, a proposal to convert the existing <br />overhead utility system to an underground system within the area generally <br />defined as bordering Harbor Boulevard from Hazard Avenue to Westminster <br />Avenue. <br /> <br />Presentation of staff report and staff comments was by Robert Eichblatt, <br />City Engineer. <br /> <br />The Clerk of the Council reported no written communications. <br /> <br />Pat Moorehead, llO1 N. Harbor Blvd., addressed Council requesting <br />information regarding the project schedule to which staff responded. <br /> <br />The following persons spoke in opposition to Underground Utility District <br />No. 25: <br /> <br />Robert Chipman, 909 N. Harbor Blvd. <br />R. J. Woiemberghe, 1209 N. Harbor Blvd. <br /> <br />There were no other speakers on the matter. <br /> <br />The Vice Mayor closed the public hearing at 7:52 p.m. <br /> <br />Councilmember Pulido requested that all property owners involved in <br />Under9round Utility District No. 25 be sent information regarding funding <br />which might be available to them through the City's commercial loan <br />packaging program. <br /> <br />MOTION: Adopt resolution. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 88-1 - A Resolution of the City Council of the City of <br />Santa Ana Establishin9 Underground Utility District No. 25. <br /> <br />MOTION: McGuigan SECOND: Pulido <br /> <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Acosta, Griset, Hart, May, McGuigan, Pulido <br />None <br />Young FILE 845 <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 12 JANUARY 4, 1988 <br /> <br /> <br />
