<br />EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />Consultant shall inspect, test and service all CLA-V AL Co. Automatic Control Valves within the <br />water distribution, pumping and storage systems of the City of Santa Ana, including installation <br />of piloted control assemblies and refurbishment of valves. <br /> <br />Consultant shall provide all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to perform the <br />services. If any work requires outages or shutdowns, Consultant shall stay in contact with the <br />water production supervisor. All field service technicians sent by Consultant shall be factory <br />trained and factory authorized to work on / service CLA- V AL Co. equipment. <br /> <br />All work will be scheduled through the City Water Department - Production Supervisor, prior to <br />starting work each week. <br /> <br />A field service report will be filled out and signed by the field service technician on each valve. <br />The reports will be delivered to City's field supervisor each day. <br /> <br />Consultant is required to conform to all City health and safety standards as well as the OSHA <br />standards. <br /> <br />All parts, controls and valves shall be of CLA- V AL Co. manufacture's specification. No others <br />will be allowed. All used parts will be returned to City for inspection and disposal. <br /> <br />After each job, before moving to another site, the current job site will be cleaned and free of <br />debris due to the valve service. <br /> <br />8 <br />
