MINUTES OF THE AI~OURNED REGULAR <br /> AND REGULAR COUNCIL MEETINGS <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />MAY 1, 1989 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 3:20 p.m. in Room 423, City Hall, <br />20 Civic Center Plaza, by Mayor Dan Young. Councilmembers present were <br />John Acosta, Daniel E. Griset, Patricia A. McGuigan, and Rick Norton. <br />Also present were City Manager David N. Ream, City Attorney Edward J. <br />Cooper and Clerk of the Council Janice C. Guy. <br /> <br />Councilmembers Ron May and Miguel A. Pulido joined the meeting at 3:27 <br />p.m. and 4:49 p.m., respectively. <br /> <br />COUNCIL STUDY SESSION <br /> <br />FISCAL YEAR 1989-90 BUDGET <br /> <br />City Manager David Ream, Deputy City Manager Jan Perkins and Assistant <br />City Manager Robyn Simpson introduced the City's 1989-90 Fiscal Year <br />Budget. They reviewed the Mission of the City and the key accomplishments <br />of the first two years of the current five-year plan, proposed objectives <br />for Year Three of the plan, and closed with a summary of key revenues and <br />expenditures. <br /> <br />RECESSED - 4:30 P.M. <br /> <br />RECONVENED - 4:48 P.M. - All Councilmembers present except Councilmember <br />?ulido. <br /> <br />4:49 P.M. - Councilmember Pulido joined the meeting. <br /> <br />Budget presentations were made to the Council by the following: <br /> Janice C.
