RECIIALS. A. The City and Consultant entered into that certain Consultant Agreement dated January 24, 2002, hereinafter referred to as "said Agreement", to provide strategic planning and facilitation for the Santa Ana Workforce Investment Board as well as the Economic Empowerment Corporation. B. The parties hereto now desire to amend the "Compensation" term found in Section 2.a and the "Term" found in Section 3 of said Agreement. WHEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective covenants and promises hereinafter contained and made, and subject to all of the terms and conditions of said Agreement as hereby amended, the parties hereto do hereby agree as follows: I. The "Compensation" section of said Agreement will be amended to read: ".. . amount not to exceed Tw~lv~ Thnll<"nd Figl1t HlIndr~d "nd nn/l 00 Dollars ($12,800.00)." 2. The "Term" section of said Agreement will be amended to read: ".. . shall commence on S".pt~mh~r 1 7001 and terminate on June 30, 2002, ...." 3. Except as hereinabove modified, the terms and conditions of said Agreement remain unchanged and in full force and effect.
