MINUTES OF THE AJ)JOURNED REGU~R AJ(D REGULAR MEETINGS <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SA&4TA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />AUGUST 21, 1989 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 1:23 p.m. in Room 831, City Hall, <br />20 Civic Center Plaza, by Mayor Dan Young. Councilmembers present were <br />John Acosta, Ron May, Patricia A. McGuigan, Rick Norton, and Miguel A. <br />Pulido. Also present were City Attorney Edward J. Cooper and Clerk of the <br />Council Janice C. Guy. <br /> <br />Councilmember Daniel E. Griset joined the meeting at 2:27 p.m. <br /> <br />The City Manager joined the meeting at 4:26 p.m. <br /> <br />RECESSED TO CLOSED SESSION - 1:23 P.M. <br /> <br />The City Council met in Closed Session pursuant to Government Code Section <br />54957 to discuss personnel matters. <br /> <br />RECESSED - 4:05 P.M. <br /> <br />RECONVENED - RO0~4 423 - CITY HALL - 4:26 P.M. - All Councilmembers present. <br /> <br />COUNCIL STUDY SESSION <br /> <br />20/20 VISION: WASTE WATER MANAGEMENT ACTION PLAN <br /> <br />Councilmember Griset introduced Corinne Clawson, Public Information <br />Officer, County Sanitation Districts of Orange County, who showed a slide <br />presentation and reviewed the key elements of "20/20 Vision," the <br />District's action plan for Waste Water Management. <br /> <br />In response to Councilmember McGuigan, Ms.Clawson indicated the Sanitation <br />Districts were working in conjunction with the Orange County Solid Waste <br />Management Committee. <br /> <br />Councilmember Griset noted the lack of consolidated management regarding <br />environmental issues. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR REVIEW <br /> <br />Councilmembers discussed concerns with respect to Consent Calendar items. <br /> <br />RECESSED - 4:50 P.M. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 239 AUGUST 21, 1989 <br /> <br /> <br />
