Councilmember Pulido requested that staff link proposed Code changes <br />dealing with "cruising" with regulation of loud speakers in vehicles. He <br />informed the Council that he had requested staff schedule a walking tour <br />of the Bristol Corridor Redevelopment Project Area on October 14, 1989 to <br />clarify physical improvements planned for the area. <br /> <br />Councilmember McGuigan encouraged the viewing audience to attend Victorian <br />Day at the Discovery Museum, and also the Cookie Safari at the Santa Ana <br />Zoo on October 14, 1989. She also noted the current week had been <br />designated "Ride Sharing" week by the Governor, and encouraged citizens to <br />participate. <br /> <br />Mayor Young requested the City Manager speak with the owners of the Ha' <br />Penny Inn, and encourage them to correct deteriorating conditions at the <br />facility, He also reported that the City-School Liaison Committee had <br />reacted favorably to his suggestion that students participate in creating <br />graffiti-free zones around each of the City's four high schools.
