<br />... <br /> <br />EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />I. Consultant will serve as a Digital Arts Instructor for Empowerment Zone youth, in grades <br />7 - 12, and adults. <br /> <br />· Consultant will develop curriculum for digital arts, graphic arts and animation classes at <br />the Grand Central Art Center in Santa Ana. <br />· Each class will be taught in six week sessions and will allow up to 12 students to <br />participate. <br />· Consultant will prepare a lesson plan in advance of each session and will prepare and <br />provide the necessary software, classroom, testing and evaluation materials for each <br />class. <br />· Students will participate in an exhibition of their work before an audience of students, <br />parents and the community at the culmination of each six week class. <br /> <br />2. Consultant will supervise a Digital Arts Assistant, who will report to Consultant and <br />assist students as needed. Consultant shall prepare the Assistant to competently assume full <br />responsibility of the class and provide assistance with preparation of a lesson plan and necessary <br />instructional materials for the successful completion of the class if Consultant is absent. <br /> <br />COMPENSATION <br /> <br />City shall pay and Consultant shall accept as full payment for his services, Thirty Dollars <br />($30.00) per hour for classroom instruction and preparation. <br /> <br />Consultant shall be reimbursed for purchase of necessary educational materials and supplies for <br />the students in an amount not to exceed Two Thousand Dollars $2,000.00) during the term of <br />this Agreement. <br /> <br />The total amount received by Consultant during the term of this Agreement SHALL NOT <br />EXCEED Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00). <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br />
