MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />OCTOBER 17, 1989 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 5:43 p.m. in the Council Chambers, <br />22 Civic Center Plaza, by Mayor Dan Young. Councilmembers present were <br />John Acosta, Ron May, Patricia A. McGuigan, Rick Norton, and Miguel A. <br />Pulido. Also present were Deputy City Manager Jan C. Perkins, City <br />Attorney Edward J. Cooper and Clerk of the Council Janice C. Guy. <br /> <br />City Manager David N. Ream joined the meeting at 6:18 p.m. <br /> <br />Councilmember Daniel E. Griset was absent. <br /> <br />The following members of the Redevelopment Commission were also present: <br />Victor Alleman, Bill Mack, John Raya, Kathleen Rosenow, and Robert Stiens. <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />76.A. JOINT PUBLIC HEARING - BRISTOL CORRIDOR REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA <br /> <br />Proposal to consider and make all necessary findings to establish a <br />redevelopment project area generally along Bristol Street between Memory <br />Lane and Central Avenue. <br /> <br />Legal notice published in the Register on September 18 and 25, 1989 and <br />October 2 and 9, 1989. <br /> <br />The Mayor opened the joint public hearing of the City Council, the <br />Community Redevelopment Agency and the Redevelopment Commission concerning <br />adoption of a redevelopment plan for the Bristol Corridor area at 5:48 p.m. <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced Joyce C. Al brian indicating she would be available to <br />assist in translating the proceedings into Spanish. <br /> <br />Presentation of statement of findings for adoption of the Redevelopment <br />Plan by Ed Cooper, City Attorney. <br /> <br />Presentation of the Redevelopment Commission report, Redevelopment Plan, <br />and staff comments by: <br /> <br />Cindy Nelson, Executive Director, Community Development Agency <br />Allan Robertson, Katz Hollis <br />Robert Hoffman, Redevelopment & Real Estate Manager, Community <br /> Development Agency <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 313 OCTOBER 17, 1989 <br /> <br /> <br />
