<br />"-' <br /> <br />""'" <br /> <br />EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />Consultant shall provide a comprehensive arts education program for children in grades <br />1-8 at Learning and Literacy Centers or After School Arts Centers in Santa Ana. <br /> <br />Consultant agrees to perform at his own cost and expense, the following: <br /> <br />I. Develop and implement a comprehensive arts education program for children in <br />grades I through 8. The program will be offered Monday-Friday between the <br />hours of2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Consultant shall not work more than four hours <br />per day and twenty hours per week unless approved by City designee. <br /> <br />2. Develop the program in multi-week segments with simple pre and post-tests to <br />track participant's knowledge and academic growth. <br /> <br />3. Supervise all student activity and provide a safe environment for those emolled in <br />the program. <br /> <br />4. Organize exhibits or performances at the culmination of segments of instruction. <br /> <br />5. Promote the arts program to the site's population and maintain maximum <br />enrollment. <br /> <br />6. Administer a program budget for materials and supplies. <br /> <br />7. Work with City designee, site staff and After School Arts staff members for the <br />successful implementation of the arts program. <br /> <br />COMPENSATION <br /> <br />Total compensation hereunder, for all hours worked and contract-related expenses, shall <br />not exceed Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00). The hourly rate of compensation shall <br />be $30.00 per hour. Consultant shall be entitled to reimbursement of contract related <br />expenses, for materials and supplies not available from City's art supplier, up to <br />$5,000.00. Consultant shall submit a detailed invoice for all hours worked and contract <br />related expenses. <br />
