The Parties entered into that certain agreement entitled "ADMINISTRATIVE <br />MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING FOR THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT <br />SERVICES FOR THE GED TESTING PROGRAM BETWEEN THE ORANGE COUNTY <br />SUPERINTENDANT OF SCHOOLS AND THE CITY OF SANTA ANA" dated August, I <br />1997, hereinafter referred to as "said Agreement", for the provision of GED testing to inmates; <br /> <br />B. The parties thereafter amended said Agreement in order to provide continuous uninterrupted <br />service under the agreement. <br /> <br />C. The Parties hereto now desire to amend the Term of said Agreement in order to provide <br />continued usage of the Consultant's services under the Agreement. <br /> <br />WHEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective covenants and promises hereinafter <br />contained and made, and subject to all of the terms and conditions of said Agreement as hereby amended, <br />the parties hereto do hereby agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. Section I, the "Term" of said Agreement is hereby amended to is hereby amended to change the <br />termination date of July 31, 2001, to August I 2002, in order to provide necessary continuous <br />uninterrupted service to the Agency. <br /> <br />2. Except as hereinabove modified, the terms and conditions of said Agreement remain unchanged <br />and in full force and effect. <br /> <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Amendment to said Agreement the <br />date and year first above written. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br />~~ <br />J,..
