The Planning Commission meeting of January 23, 2006 was the subject of a regularly noticed public hearing with publication of the meeting notice appearing in the Orange County Reporter newspaper and mailed to all property owners within 300 feet of the proposed project. Summary and Conclusion Based on the above analysis, staff recommends that the Planning Commission approve and adopt the Mitigated Negative Declaration and Mitigation Monitoring Program, Environmental Review No. 2005-28 and adopt a resolution approving Conditional Use Permit No. 2005-33 as conditioned to allow the expansion of the existing cemetery. CEQA Compliance In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act, Mitigated Negative Declaration and Mitigation Monitoring Program Environmental Review No. 2005-28 has been prepared for this project (Exhibit 3). This document was released for public review on December 22, 2006 with a Notice of Intent being published in the Orange County Register. The review period closed on January 20, 2006. As of the writing of this staff report, no comments had been received on the Mi tigated Negative Declaration. The analysis contained in the Mitigated Negative Declaration determined that the proj ect would not result in any impacts that could not be mitigated to a less than significant level. ///11 C...
