<br />Cooperative Agreement With aCTA <br />March 6, 2006 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />Subvention funds in fiscal years 2006/7 through 2011/12 and to seek an <br />additional $100 million from other sources including federal <br />appropriations, state grants or local funds. The first $125 million cash <br />flow will be provided to the City according to the attached exhibit <br />(Exhibit 1). <br /> <br />In order to <br />improvements <br />four phases: <br /> <br />meet the funding cash flow availability from aCTA, the <br />between Warner Avenue and Seventeenth Street will be done in <br /> <br />Phase I <br />Phase II <br />Phase III <br />Phase IV <br /> <br />McFadden to Pine <br />Third to Civic Center <br />Civic Center to Seventeenth St. <br />Warner to St. Andrew place <br /> <br />A major cost of the widening is acquisition of properties along Bristol, <br />A total of 138 residential and 98 commercial properties are involved in <br />this project. It is estimated that Phase I & II will be completed by 2011 <br />and phases III & IV by 2013. <br /> <br />This cooperative agreement will establish the roles and responsibilities <br />between aCTA and the City. The City will bear the majority of the <br />responsibilities for widening of Bristol Street. The City will be <br />responsible for right-of-way acquisition, preparation of the construction <br />documents, utility relocation & undergrounding, bid advertisement, award <br />and administration of the construction contract. In addition the City <br />will be handling the notification to the property owners, businesses and <br />the adjacent neighborhood associations, Several meetings will be arranged <br />to fully inform the community of the scope of the project, the process of <br />property acquisition and relocation and the construction scheduling. <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br /> <br />There is no environmental impact associated with this action. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br /> <br />The appropriation adjustment will increase the Select Street Program <br />revenue account (account no, 59-01-5335) by $18.05 million and the <br />expenditure appropriation by $18.05 million (account no, 59-551-6631) to <br />widen Bristol Street between Warner Avenue and Seventeenth Street. <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FUNDS AND ACCOUNTS: <br /> <br />k <br />t1"" ,/ ^~ ClvvW\o~ <br /> <br />ames G.
