Santa Ana <br />Amount: <br />$10,000 <br />$20,000 <br />$10,000 <br />The City's Fleet Maintenance Division is responsible for the maintenance <br />and repair of over 800 City vehicles including fire trucks, police <br />vehicles, construction equipment, sweepers and light and heavy-duty trucks <br />and sedans. Fleet Maintenance offers a full tire service to install new <br />tires and repair flat tires. In order for Fleet Maintenance to perform <br />these duties, outside contractual 24-hour emergency road services are <br />needed. <br />On March 1, 2004, the City Council awarded contracts for 24-hour Emergency <br />Road Service to Santa Ana vendors Parkhouse Tire, Inc, Pete's Road Service, <br />Inc. and Tarulli Tire, Inc. for a one-year period, with provision for two <br />one-year renewals. The vendors have performed satisfactorily during the <br />past contract period and have agreed to renew the contracts without an <br />increase in pricing. Staff recommends the final renewal of the contracts. <br />22A-1 <br />
