MINERAL RESOURCES <br />A. Result in the loss of availability of a locally <br />important mineral resource recovery site delineated on <br />a local general plan, specific plan or other land use <br />plan? <br />No Impact <br />According to the City's General Plan Land Use Element FEIR <br />there are no areas in Santa Ana designated as significant <br />Mineral Aggregate Resource Areas. Therefore, <br />implementation of the proposed project would not result in <br />the loss of any regionally or locally important mineral <br />resource. <br />XI. NOISE <br />Noise Standards <br />The project site is located within the City of Santa Ana <br />and subject to noise standards and guidelines in the <br />General Plan Noise Element, and the Municipal Code Noise <br />Ordinance. <br />General Plan Noise Element <br />The primary purpose of the City of Santa Ana Noise Element <br />is to "Prevent significant increases in noise levels in the <br />community and to minimize the adverse effects of currently - <br />existing noise sources." In accordance with the Noise <br />Element, the City has adopted noise standards and <br />guidelines for land use planning.
