In <br />addition, the Police Department's Central Distribution Center stocks <br />copy paper for various divisions and the Holding Facility. <br />The notice inviting bids was advertised on December 9 and 12, 2005, and <br />bids were solicited. A summary of the bid invitations and bids received is <br />as follows: <br />8 Invitations For Bid mailed <br />1 Invitation For Bid mailed to a Santa Ana vendor <br />4 Bids received <br />Bids were received, opened on February 14, 2006, and evaluated (Exhibit 1). <br />The bid received from Unisource Worldwide Inc. is responsive to the <br />specification. To allow for unanticipated paper usage, an additional <br />contingency amount has been included. <br />22B-1 <br />
