EXHIBIT A <br />CONSULTANT shall provide art instruction within a comprehensive arts education <br />program for children in grades 1 -8 at Learning and Literacy Centers or After School Arts <br />Centers in Santa Ana. <br />• CONSULTANT will develop and implement a comprehensive art instruction <br />program for children in grades 1 through 8. The program will be offered <br />Monday -Friday between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Each class will <br />provide three (3) hours of instruction. <br />• CONSULTANT will prepare a lesson plan for each class and have a strong <br />knowledge of the art curriculum prior to each class. <br />• CONSULTANT will work with the Arts Administrator to select a variety of art <br />techniques which will be taught to the students to achieve a highly competent <br />product by the students. <br />• CONSULTANT will supervise all student activity and provide a safe environment <br />for those enrolled in the program. <br />• CONSULTANT will promote the arts program to the site's population and <br />maintain maximum enrollment. <br />• CONSULTANT will provide an open house each quarter before an audience of <br />students, parents and the community. <br />COMPENSATION <br />Total compensation hereunder, for all hours worked and contract - related expenses, shall <br />not exceed Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00). The hourly rate of compensation shall <br />be $30.00 per hour. Consultant shall be entitled to reimbursement of contract related <br />expenses, for materials and supplies not available from City's art supplier, up to <br />$2,000.00. Consultant shall submit a detailed invoice for all hours worked and contract <br />related expenses. <br />
