EXHIBIT A SCOPE OF SERVICES A. Consultant will prepare and instruct students in Skyhawk Sports Camp and Basketball camp for a one week session during the summer hours as follows: Skyhawk Mini Camp & Soccer camp will be held at the Santiago Park: Skyhawk Mini Camp for children 4 -7 years old from July 29, 2002 - August 2, 2002 and Skyhawk Soccer Camp from August 12 -16, 2002. Skyhawk Basketball Camp will be held at Salgado Community Center from August 5- August 9, 2002 for children 6 -14 years old. B. Consultant will provide and be responsible for equipment, records, personnel and clean up of the facilities and material necessary to insure the effectiveness of said instruction. Class Size Registration A. The minimum number of participants is 10 per class, B. Pre - Registration is required. Shall be accepted up to the first week of class. C. In the event the minimum number of enrollees is not realized by the second week of classes, the class shall be canceled and Consultant will be under no obligation to provide services, and City will be under no obligation to pay Consultant compensation. Fees A. The fee to participants shall be no more that $ 100.00 per session per enrollee, for the full day camp and $92.00 for the mini camp to the consultant. No refunds shall be made to participants, unless class is canceled by the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency. B. City shall collect said fees from each participant in the class during the period of registration. Consultant shall not collect fees and refer participants to Center office. City agrees to pay Consultant eighty -one percent (80 %) of the total fees within fifteen (15) working days after completion of said class period. City and Consultant agree that City shall retain twenty percent (20 %) of the fees collected. C. Consultant agrees that City representative shall be entitled to audit Consultant's records to insure compliance with the Agreement.
