PROJECTS - MAINTENANCE, CONSTRUCTION OR IMPROVEMENT OF PUBLIC FACILITIES <br /> <br />RECONSTRUCTION OF SIDEWALK, CURB AND GUTTER - MABURY PARK <br />NEIGHBORHOOD - Public Works Agency. PROJ 2160 <br /> <br />A number of individuals were present in the audience with the <br />misunderstanding that Item 3.B. dealt with the removal of liquidambar <br />trees on Cabrillo Park Drive. After explaining that Item 3.B. did not <br />address the issue of removing trees from Cabrillo Park Drive, the Mayor <br />did take testimony from those who had come to address this issue. <br /> <br />After a staff report on the problems created by liquidambar trees by Jim <br />Ross, Executive Director of Public Works, and Larry Christian, Maintenance <br />Services Manager, the following individuals spoke in support of efforts to <br />save the liquidambar trees: <br /> <br />Teri B. Joseph, 1044-F Cabrillo Park Drive <br />Diana Fer~sella, 1022 Cabrillo Park Drive <br />Lorie Rhea, 1225 N. Cabrillo Park Drive <br />John Gallie, 1109 Cabrillo Park Drive <br />Lorrie L.
