;

r

II

.&JLlL <CIl1lif MANACGIRWllEm ~BVTI<ClE~

Project Staffing

Staffing the Santa Ana Program begins by securing the positions of the current Crossing Guards. We
value the relationships the existing Crossing Guards typically have. They usually understand the
community, often they know many of the parents and teachers and many motorists become accustomed to
seeing them there. These relationships provide the platform for communicating safety issues.

If we are awarded the contract we will schedule a meeting with all the current Crossing Guards. During
this meeting we would address questions and provide assurance that everyone will maintain their rate of
pay, their hours and their work location. These are typically the most threatening issues to Crossing
Guards in this type of transition. We would USe this opportunity to address any further questions and let
them know who we are and the family of Crossing Guards they join. The balance of this meeting would
be used to train, complete applications, confirm assignments and issue equipment.

Management of the Santa Ana Crossing Guard Program would involve the General Manager, Operations
Manager, Safety Supervisors and Area Supervisors. We will employ two Area Supervisors to manage the
Santa Ana Program. We will seek to promote two current Santa Ana Crossing Guards to the position of
Area Supervisor.

The following is a brief description of the positions and responsibilities relevant to the day to day
operations of the Santa Ana Crossing Guard Program.

General Manager-Responsible for overall contract compliance, operational and administrative
management of the program. Assists in hiring and training of Safety Supervisors and Area Supervisors.
Assist in the development of the Re-Certification Program.
