MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />JUNE 18, 1990 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 4:35 p.m. in Room 423, City Hall, <br />20 Civic Center Plaza, by Mayor Pro Tem John Acosta. Councilmembers <br />present were Ron May, Patricia A. McGuigan, Rick Norton, and Miguel A. <br />Pulido. Also present were City Manager David N. Ream, City Attorney <br />Edward J. Cooper and Clerk of the Council Janice C. Guy. <br /> <br />Mayor Dan Young and Councilmember Daniel E. Griset joined the meeting at <br />4:47 p.m., and 5:09 p.m., respectively. <br /> <br />COUNCIL STUDY SESSION <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR REVIEW <br /> <br />Councilmembers discussed concerns with respect to Consent Calendar items. <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tem Acosta noted for the record that Camille Street was <br />improperly labeled "Laurel" in Exhibit A of the background materials for <br />Item 9.A. <br /> <br />Councilmember Norton requested that a Study Session be held on July 2, <br />1990 concerning implementation of a Community Facilities District. <br /> <br />RECESSED - 4:50 P.M. <br /> <br />RECONVENED - COUNCIL CHAMBERS - 5:09 P.M. - All Councilmembers present <br />except Mayor Pro Tem Acosta. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Proclamation declaring June 6, 1990, as <br />"Law Enforcement Records and Support <br />Personnel Day," presented by MAYOR YOUNG <br />to Penny Drury, Debbie Boulter, Irene <br />Jones, and Yolanda Pena of the Santa Ana <br />Police Department. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />The Clerk of the Council announced the following modifications to Consent <br />Calendar items: <br /> <br />1) Amendment of the contract amount in Item 3.C. from <br /> $312,670.00 to $262,670.00. <br />2) Issuance of request for proposals only to architectural firms <br /> for Item 12.A. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 177 JUNE 18, 1990 <br /> <br /> <br />
