SANTA ANA <br /> <br />Proposal to amend the Land Use Element of the General Plan to redesignate <br />properties in Historic French Park (SD-19) from medium-density residential <br />to low-density residential, and establish in West Santa Ana a density <br />between 7 and 15 units per acre to facilitate single-family developments <br />on lots smaller than 6,000 square feet. <br /> <br />Recommended for approval by the Planning Commission on May 29, 1990, by <br />the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Casteix, Godinez, Hanna, Miller, Mills, Sizemore, Spevacek <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />Legal Notice published in the Register on June 8, 1990. <br /> <br />The Mayor opened the public hearing regarding General Plan Amendment <br />90-007 at 8:36 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation of staff report, Planning Commission recommendation and staff <br />comments by: Robyn Uptegraff, Executive Director, Planning and Building <br />Agency <br /> <br />Presentation of written communications by Janice C. Guy, Clerk of the <br />Council: None <br /> <br />Larry Moore, 1020 N. Broadway, Suite 403, spoke in favor of General Plan <br />Amendment 90-007. <br /> <br />Mike Hammond, 4926 W. Fifth St., and Sam P.
