Award a contract <br />responsible bidder, <br />estimated amount of <br />House Improvements. <br /> <br />to Coppertop Enterprises, Inc. , the lowest <br />in accordance with unit bid prices in the <br />$109,699.95 for construction of Jerome Park Pool <br /> <br />2. Approve a Funding Analysis with a total estimated construction cost <br />of $142,600. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />The roof at the Jerome Park Pool House has deteriorated due to weather <br />(Exhibit 1). Normal maintenance will no longer keep water from leaking <br />through the roof. As a result, water damage is taking its toll on the <br />interiors of the building. The floor on the second floor of the building <br />has also deteriorated due to water leakage. This project provides for <br />the removal and replacement of the deteriorated roofing materials and the <br />damaged plywood sheathing of the second floor. In addition, various <br />improvements will be made to provide access to the building for people <br />with disabilities and increase safety for the pool area. <br /> <br />The Notice Inviting Bids was advertised on January 18 and 20, 2006, and <br />bids were opened on February 16, 2006.
