(Reyes abstained; Loverin and <br />Older absent.) <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />On October 13, 2005, ETAC approved the areas of impact for polling of <br />speed humps on Sydney Street, Hobart Street, and Glenwood Place <br />(Exhibits I, 2 and 3). Neighborhood meetings were conducted on December <br />6th and 8th, 2005 to explain the speed hump and advisory polling process. <br />Mailing of the ballots to the residents in each area of impact occurred <br />shortly thereafter with a return date of January 31, 2006. <br /> <br />The advisory poll results are as follows: <br /> <br /> Sydney St. Hobart St. Glenwood Place <br />Total Ballots Mailed 17 26 68 <br />Total Ballots Received 10 12 18 <br />Rate of Return 59% 46% 26% <br />Invalid Ballots 1 0 4 <br />Total Valid Ballots 9 12 14 <br />Valid Ballots Not in Favor (0% ) (0% ) (14%) <br />of the Speed Humps <br />Valid Ballots in Favor of (100%) (100%) (86%) <br />the Speed Humps <br /> <br />23C-1 <br />
