The OCCC has been heavily <br />involved with the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency in <br />various Santa Ana restoration projects for the past several years. The <br />City would like to continue its relationship with the OCCC by utilizing <br />them to provide labor, supervision, equipment, and tools for the removal <br />and re-landscaping of Santiago Creek, and to prepare the Thornton Park <br />site for a wetland and riparian habitat restoration project. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br /> <br />Funds are available in the State of California Urban Creek Restoration <br />Program account (account no. 171-108-6291) in the amount of $80,000, and <br />in the Southern California Wetlands Recovery Project account (account no. <br />169-269-6291) in the amount of $10,000. <br /> <br />Ge!::::~~~ <br /> <br />Executive Director <br />Parks, Recreation and Community <br />Services Agency <br /> <br />APPROVE~ AS ,\:0.
