MINUTES OF TH£ REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA, C/U_IFORNIA <br /> <br />SEPTEMBER 4, 1990 <br /> <br />At 4:05 p.m., Clerk of the Council Janice C. Guy adjourned the Council <br />meeting from Room 423, City Hall, 20 Civic Center Plaza, to Room 147, City <br />Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, since Room 423 was unavailable. <br /> <br />At 4:24 p.m., Mayor Pro Tem John Acosta called the Council meeting to <br />order in Room 147, City Hall, 20 Civic Center Plaza. Councilmembers <br />present were Ron May, Patricia A. McGuigan, Rick Norton, and Miguel A. <br />Pulido. Also present were City Manager David N. Ream, City Attorney <br />Edward J. Cooper and Clerk of the Council Janice C. Guy. <br /> <br />Councilmember Daniel E. Griset joined the meeting at 4:33 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Dan Young joined the meeting at the Evening Session of the Council. <br /> <br />COUNCIL STUDY SESSION <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR REVIEW <br /> <br />Councilmember Pulido requested that Item 21.A. be removed from the Consent <br />agenda for separate action. Councilmembers expressed no other concerns <br />with respect to Consent Calendar Items. <br /> <br />Councilmember McGuigan informed the Council she would be requesting a <br />waiver of the Brown Act posting requirement at the Evening Session, in <br />order to take action with respect to a resolution proposed by the Orange <br />County League of California Cities relative to banning aerosol spray <br />paints. <br /> <br />RECESSED - 4:28 P.M. <br /> <br />RECONVENED - COUNCIL CHAJ4BERS - 4:33 P.M. - All Councilmembers present <br />except Mayor Young.. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />The Mayor Pro Tem announced Item No. 21.A. would be removed for separate <br />action by the Council. <br /> <br />MOTION: Approve the following Consent Calendar items: <br /> <br />MOTION: Norton <br /> <br />VOTE: AYES: <br /> NOES: <br /> ABSENT: <br /> <br /> SECOND: McGuigan <br /> <br />Acosta, Griset, May, McGuigan, Norton, Pulido <br />None <br />Young <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 265 SEPTEMBER 4, 1990 <br /> <br /> <br />
