Ms. <br />Kia has assisted and directed nwnerous landfill and oil field closure projects involving locating <br />and permitting, both air and water Solid Waste Assessment Tests (SWATs), CQA management <br />of land1ii1 cell lining operations, and groundwater and methane gas issues for both landfill and <br />oil field development Her expertise in both landfill operations and oil field closures makes her <br />particulady effccthie in managing methane remedial actions in the future. Her responsibilities <br />inolude but are not limited to directing field personnel, performing review, analyses of data <br />accumulated and preparation of finaJ reports for review by Local Enforcement Agencies <br />(LEAs). . <br /> <br />Ms. Kia has also cOnducted and managed numerous hydrogeologic investigations, Phase I and <br />Phase II environmental site assessmenls, and remediation studies at various sites in California <br />for finadcial instil1.!tions, major oil companies and their distributors, manufactul1:rs, chemical <br />companips, and municipalities. Ms. Kia is well-versed in regulations governing environmental <br />contamiriation, including CFR 40 and 49, and CCR Title 22, Title 27, and Title 26.
