Followed the newly released <br />January :1996 California Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) guidelines for a <br />gro~dwater area that had been declared as a "non-beneficial use" region. The project involved <br />removin~ one UST; subsurface soil sampling for petroleum hydrocarbon compounds in the <br />areas of the UST.: product line, and dispenser; characterization of the contamination in the <br />subs.e; installation of one groundwater monitoring well; and groundwater sampling. <br />Althougll petroleUm contamination was found in soil and groundwater samples, the <br />concentrations were below the San Diego Regional Water Quality Control Board (SDRWQCB) <br />concentrations of concern, and the SDRWQCB issued a Letter of Closure. <br /> <br />Phose n Environmental Site Assessment Experience; <br /> <br />Confidential BllJIking CUeDt-Numerous Sites Throughout California <br /> <br />On two. occasions; project managed a group of Phase n ESAs for the takeover of assets of <br />another bank by our client bank.
