<br />'-' <br /> <br />""" <br /> <br />ASSOCIATE PROJECT MANAGER <br />(ASSOCIATE PLANNER) <br /> <br />THE FOLLOWING ARE THE TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF AN <br />ASSOCIATE PROJECT MANAGER UNDER CONTRACT TO A PUBLIC AGENCY. <br /> <br />Duties are performed with some to moderate instruction and direction from higher level <br />supervisors: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Review and evaluate more complex development applications submitted to the City <br />for processing. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Assist the public with the interpretation of resolutions, ordinances and policies of the <br />City and the application of them to specific development proposals. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Coordinate and manage the review of development applications with other City <br />departments and divisions. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Prepare staff reports, research documents, and other planning related materials as <br />assigned. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Prepare revisions to General Plans, Zoning Codes, Specific Plans and other <br />regulatory documents. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Prepare initial studies. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Coordinate and direct the preparation of Environmental Impact Reports. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />As assigned, direct the activities of subordinate staff and outside consultants. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Review and comment on construction drawings and materials. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Prepare and make presentations before the Planning Commission, City Council and <br />other boards and commissions. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Interact with special interest groups, neighborhood groups, and other community <br />based groups and organizations. <br /> <br />EXHIBIT A-I <br />
