JUE p,E, Mr. Dennis Jue has served as the Contract Deputy City Engineer for the <br />City of Lake Forest for the past five years. He assists the Director of Public <br />T.E. Works in coordinating, reviewing, and supervising public works activities, <br />City Engineer including design and construction of capital projects and other <br />GRANT APPLICATION improvement projects, subdivision improvement plan checking, contract <br />PREPARATION administration, construction inspection, compliance with Federal, State <br />and local laws and ordinances, and establishing departmental policies. <br />Education He is responsible for the oversight of major infrastructure projects <br />B.S., Civil Engineering involving streets, highways, storm drains, sewer and water facilities, as <br />well as for establishing an ongoing pavement management program for <br />Professional Registration the maintenance and repair of the City's streets and highways and an <br />California No. 36672 annual program for repair of curb and gutter and sidewalks. <br />California No. 1180 <br />In addition, he was Contract Deputy City Engineer for the City of Dana <br />Professional Affiliations Point for 10 years, where he was responsible for the oversight of major <br />City Engineers Association infrastructure projects involving streets, highways, drainage, and flood <br />of Orange County control facilities. In addition, responsible for management of maintenance <br />American Public Works and repair of existin <br />Association p g public facilities. Duties also included interface and <br />American Society of Civil coordination with Caltrans, County of Orange and other agencies. <br />Engineers <br />Institute of Transportation Prior to joining Willdan, Mr. Jue was the Public Works Director/City <br />Engineers Engineer for the City of Seal Beach. He planned, directed, coordinated, <br />and administered the operations, maintenance, and construction activities <br />31 Years Experience of the Public Works Department. He also served as Chief Engineer of the <br />City in planning and directing the design and construction of the City's <br />Capital Improvement Program. Mr. Jue has also served as support staff to <br />the City Council, Planning Commission, and various other committees for <br />the preparation and administration of the capital improvement plan and <br />budget. <br />As an Associate Transportation Engineer for the City of Inglewood, Mr. <br />Jue was responsible for technical and administrative work for the <br />Transportation Division of the City's Engineering Department. He directed <br />the installation of traffic control devices, supervised collection and analysis <br />of data relating to traffic problems, and supervised technical, professional, <br />and clerical personnel. <br />City of Dana Point, Funding Applications - As City Engineer in Dana <br />Point, Mr. Jue submitted the initial documents to OCTA to qualify the City <br />for the Measure M Program, and assisted the City each year in the annual <br />eligibility submittal to re -qualify the City. Since inception of the Measure M <br />Program, Mr. Jue has submitted all CTFP applications on behalf of the <br />City. He has also prepared and submitted the City's applications for <br />Arterial Highway Rehabilitation Program (AHRP) and Transportation <br />Enhancement Activities (TEA) applications to OCTA.
