ORDINANCE NS-2114 - An ordinance of the City of Santa Aha <br />amending Sections 41-377.5, 41-378, and 41-489 of the Santa Aha <br />Municipal Code and adding Section 41-445, to delete open-air <br />markets, swap meets and fair§rounds from the list of <br />conditionally permitted uses in the C2 Use District, to require <br />that business uses in the CR District be conducted within <br />buildings, and to prohibit open air swap meets in the M2 District <br />- Planning and Building Agency <br /> <br />MOTION: Griset SECOND: Young <br /> <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Griset, McGuigan, Pulido, Richardson, Young <br />Acosta, Norton <br />None FILE 625.55 <br /> <br />COUNCIL AGENDA ITEMS <br /> <br />85.A. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION SUPPORTING AMERICAN TROOPS INVOLVED IN OPEP~TION <br />DESERT STORM (ACOSTA) <br /> <br />MOTION: Adopt resolution. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 91-021 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA SUPPORTING THE AMERICAN TROOPS AND THEIR <br />FAMILIES INVOLVED IN OPERATION DESERT STORM <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana is anxious to show support of the <br />men and women serving our country in the Persian Gulf War; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana is cognizant of the personal <br />sacrifices and difficult times that the families of these brave enlisted <br />men and women are experiencing; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana will display yellow ribbons on the <br />water tower, City Hall, and City vehicles as symbols of our pride, concern <br />and constancy; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana will display a large banner across <br />Main Street at Fourth Street that carries this message "Santa Ana Supports <br />Our Troops"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, American flags will be displayed along Fourth Street; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the families of City employees who are serving in <br />Operation Desert Storm will be invited to Santa Aha Council Chambers for a <br />special presentation; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA does hereby support the American troops and their families who <br />are involved in Operation Desert Storm, and takes great pride in saluting <br />these troops and their loved ones. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 58 FEBRUARY 19, 1991 <br /> <br /> <br />
