<br />'-" <br /> <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE ON <br />MAIN STREET DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />October 15, 2003 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting convened at 7:19 a.m. in City Hall, Room 831, 20 Civic Center Plaza, <br />Santa Ana, California. <br /> <br />ATTENDANCE <br />City Council Committee members present were: Council member Jose Solorio and <br />Council member Lisa Bist. Absent was: Council member Claudia Alvarez. <br /> <br />Staff members present were: Assistant City Manager Debra Kurita, City Attorney Joe <br />Fletcher, Community Development Agency Executive Director John P. Reekstin, City <br />Engineer George Alvarez, Downtown Development Manager Matt Lamb, Senior <br />Planner Vince Fregoso, Senior Engineer Zed Kekula, Community Preservation <br />Inspector Alvaro Nunez and Associate Planner Bob St. Paul. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Members of the public present were: Vic and Judy Edge. <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEMS <br /> <br />1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - September 17, 2003 <br /> <br />Action: The minutes were approved 2:0 (Alvarez absent). <br /> <br />2. PROPOSED CODE ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS <br /> <br />Alvaro Nunez reported the following: <br /> <br />. Several citations for illegal window signage have been issued on Broadway. <br />. Most citations issued over the past year have been complied with. <br />. There are banners at Fourth and Main, which will be investigated and <br />addressed, as well as Today's Furniture for illegal window signage. <br /> <br />~ <br />
