<br />3. <br /> <br />PROJECT UPDATES <br /> <br />"" <br /> <br />a) SWC First and Main Streets - The project will be presented to the Planning <br />Commission on December 22, requesting approval of various entitlements. <br />Councilmember Bist indicated that she had been in contact with residents of <br />Henninger Park who have requested a meeting with the developer prior to the <br />Planning Commission meeting. Planning staff will pursue scheduling a <br />meeting as soon as possible. <br /> <br />b) Citv Place West - Staff is continuing to work with the developer on the <br />commercial component of the project, and revised plans have been submitted <br />for review. <br /> <br />c) One Broadwav Plaza - The following schedule has been established: <br /> <br />. Planning Commission Study Session January 26 <br />. Planning Commission Public Hearing February 23 <br />. City Council March <br />. Responses to environmental comments are in progress and will be <br />released ten days prior to the Planning Commission public hearing in <br />February. <br /> <br />"" <br /> <br />d) YMCA - Staff continues to market the building; however, to date no major <br />development submittal has been received. <br /> <br />e) Fence Adiacent to Bike Trail - This will now be presented to a Hearing <br />Officer. More information will be available in January. <br /> <br />f) Court of Appeals - The Civic Center parking lot site does not meet the needs <br />of the Court; therefore, an independent group has been convened to <br />recommend an alternative site. Santa Ana has identified two other sites in <br />the City for consideration. The State has allocated $17 million for the project <br />but must go back for yearly appropriation approvals. The Court is currently <br />looking for a site between 2.5 and 3 acres. <br /> <br />g) Main/Warner School Site - The school is under construction. <br /> <br />h) 4th Street Pushcart Status - A proposal is being presented to the various <br />vendors. Standards will be established for each of the various types. The <br />schedule has the carts being purchased in March with delivery by late <br />summer. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />i) South Main Public Improvements - Cost Estimates for New Sidewalk South <br />of Warner and North of Railroad Tracks - Sidewalk improvements south of <br />Getz will require right-of-way with an estimated cost of $340,000.
