<br />"'" <br /> <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE ON <br />MAIN STREET DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />April 21, 2004 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting convened at 5:40 p.m. in City Hall, Room 831, 20 Civic Center Plaza, <br />Santa Ana, California. <br /> <br />ATTENDANCE <br />City Council Committee members present: Council member Lisa Bist and <br />Council member Jose Solorio. <br /> <br />Staff members present: Community Development Agency Executive Director John P. <br />Reekstin, Chief Assistant City Attorney Ben Kaufman, Senior Planner Sergio Klotz, <br />Community Preservation Manager Bruce Dunams and Redevelopment Assistant Danell <br />Mercado. <br /> <br />"'" <br /> <br />Community members present: None <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEMS <br /> <br />1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - March 17,2004 <br /> <br />Action: The minutes were approved 2:0 <br /> <br />2. PROPOSED CODE ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS <br /> <br />Bruce Dunams reported that Notices of Violation continue to be issued in the <br />Downtown and South Main areas. A letter has been sent to Ricci Zukkerman, <br />owner of the Otis Building informing her that the city has taken all steps possible <br />regarding relocation of the bus stop. The next step will be to enforce the repair of <br />awnings and painting of the building. The South Main business installing illegal <br />flags and banners along the bike trail has been cited. <br /> <br />~ <br />
