<br />~ <br /> <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE ON <br />MAIN STREET DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />September 15, 2004 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting convened at 5:45 p.m. in City Hall, Room 831, 20 Civic Center Plaza, <br />Santa Ana, California. <br /> <br />ATTENDANCE <br />City Council Committee members present: Council member Jose Solorio and <br />Councilmember Claudia Alvarez. <br /> <br />Staff members present: Community Development Agency Executive Director Patricia <br />C. Whitaker, Chief Assistant City Attorney Benjamin Kaufman, Associate Planner Bob <br />St. Paul, Community Preservation Inspector Alvaro Nunez, Redevelopment Assistant <br />Danell Mercado <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Community members present: None <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEMS <br /> <br />1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - August 31, 2004 <br /> <br />Action: <br /> <br />The minutes were approved 2:0 <br /> <br />2. PROPOSED CODE ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS <br /> <br />Violations have been given to several businesses on South Main for un-permitted <br />signs. Once notified by Alvaro, AutoZone removed their un-permitted signs. <br />Violations were also give to businesses on 4th Street for portable signs and <br />merchandise outside their stores. <br /> <br />3. 6 LOT SUBDIVISION MAIN/MCFADDEN <br /> <br />A final offer has been made to the Orange/Mcfadden site. The Housing Division <br />is ready to market the site for a potential of 7 new homes with the success of the <br />offer on the last parcel. The homes will be 2 stories, 2200 square feet and will <br />depict the different styles of homes in the surrounding neighborhoods. An RFP <br />will be done to solicit proposal to build out the project. <br /> <br />~ <br />
