<br />\r.. <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />He also presented a recommendation to the Committee of a <br />proposed Ordinance that would establish a Municipal Code to allow <br />the seizure of vehicles that were used to solicit prostitution activity. <br /> <br />The Committee was in agreement with the recommendation and <br />requested that the proposed Ordinance be presented to the City <br />Council in December. <br /> <br />4. TRUANCY ISSUE <br /> <br />Lt. Tegeler reviewed the Orange County Truancy Program that was <br />created by the Juvenile Justice Crime Prevention Act of 2000 to curb <br />crime and delinquency among at-risk youth and young offenders. <br />The Police Department is working with Juvenile Probation officers to <br />reduce truancy, which should ultimately reduce criminal activity <br />associated with truancy. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br />\r.. <br /> <br />No Public Comments <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE MEMBER COMMENTS <br /> <br />No Committee Member comments. <br /> <br />7.
