PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />75.A. FY 91-92 BUDGET <br /> <br />Public hearing to consider the City's 1991-92 Fiscal Year Budget <br />and related matters. <br /> <br />Legal Notice published in the Register on May 24, and May 31, <br />1991. <br /> <br />The Mayor opened the public hearing regarding the City's proposed <br />Fiscal Year 91-92 Budget at 6:56 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation of staff report and staff comments by: David Borik, <br />Accounting and Budget Manager <br /> <br />Presentation of written communications by Janice C. Guy, Clerk of <br />the Council: One, a letter from the Santa Ana Chamber of <br />Commerce dated May 31, 1991 requesting a continuance of the <br />Budget hearing for a minimum of 30 days to allow analysis and <br />input from the Chamber. <br /> <br />The Mayor noted Councilmember McGuigan had also requested <br />continuance of the budget hearing. <br /> <br />The following persons spoke regarding the budget: <br /> <br />Miles Leach, 2025 W. Tenth Street <br />Pat Mill, 617 S. Starboard <br />Sal Juarez, 1913 Camden Place <br />Jim Perkins <br /> <br />The Mayor closed the public hearing at 7:17 p.m. <br /> <br />Councilmember Norton requested that the public hearing not be <br />closed, but continued. <br /> <br />MOTION: Continue the public hearing regarding the city's Fiscal <br /> Year 91-92 Budget to June 17, 1991. <br /> <br />MOTION: Norton SECOND: Acosta <br /> <br />VOTE: AYES: Acosta, Griset, Norton, Richardson <br /> NOES: Young <br /> ABSENT: McGuigan FILE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />156 JUNE 3, 1991 <br /> <br /> <br />
