OO for 1991-92 and <br />increasing the tax cap by $1,000. OO for each year thereafter through <br />1995-96; place ordinance on first reading and authorize publication of <br />title. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NS-2132 - An ordinance of the City of Santa Ana amending <br />Article VI of Chapter 35 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code relating to Utility <br />Users Tax - Finance and Management Services Agency <br /> <br />2. Approve the following: <br /> <br />An informal agreement with the Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce to <br />establish a Joint Budget Task Force comprised of Chamber of Commerce <br />members and City officiais to meet year-round to analyze the City's <br />annual budget needs and present recommendations to the City Council. <br /> <br />* Immediate revocation of the proposed Utility Users Tax increase in the <br /> event the State Legislature revokes the County Jail Booking Fees. <br /> <br />* Allocation of additional revenue raised as a result of the increased Utility <br /> Users Tax to public safety needs. <br /> <br />MOTION: Young SECOND: Pulido <br /> <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Griset, McGuigan, Pulido, Richardson, Young <br />NOES: Acosta, Norton <br /> <br />ABSENT: None FILE 310 <br /> <br />Councilmember McGuigan requested staff investigate increasing the low-income household <br />exemption for payment of the Utility Users Tax from its current ceiling of $10,000.00. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL iVI~N~UrrES 197 JULY 1, 1991 <br /> <br /> <br />
