APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />ACTION ITEM: Minutes of May 3, 2005 meeting to be submitted for approval at the next <br />committee meeting. <br /> <br />2. SPORTS UPDATE <br />. Soccer and Stadium Fees: <br />Staff presented the fee schedule for the Dan Young Soccer Complex and the Santa <br />Ana Stadium. Discussion focused on establishing a fee for residents (player) which <br />was not identified on the fee schedule. <br />ACTION ITEM: <br />I) Staffto survey and report back information on the commercial fee <br />schedules for other stadiums in the area. <br />2) What is the $9,500 cost based on? <br />3) Identity the pros and cons on synthetic field at the stadium. <br />4) Have SAPD present the fee breakdown for police cost at the stadium. <br />5) Provide a recommendation for resident and non-resident fee. <br /> <br />. Match Point Tennis Proposal <br />Elson T. De Cantuaria, the Founding Director and owner of Match Point Tennis <br />Academy (MPT A) submitted a proposal for leasing of Cabrillo Tennis Center to run <br />an Academy to help develop skills of Santa Ana youth tennis players to compete in <br />local and national tennis competition.
