<br />. to require all vendors to provide an on-site containment solution within six <br />months of the ordinance adoption; <br />. to require the new and larger vendors to install an on-site containment system <br />with a month test period before imposing the requirement as listed above; and <br />. to permit all vendors to develop their own plan for a containment system to <br />operate until they have violated a pre-set standard of compliance. <br /> <br />"J <br /> <br />Jay Trevino indicated to the committee that staff would invite the grocers <br />association as well other retailers to the meeting to provide input. <br /> <br />5. PRE-SALE ORDINANCE <br /> <br />Bruce Dunams provided the committee with additional information as requested <br />on the programs that exist in other communities. He provided information from <br />14 other communities all of which have an entire property inspection program. <br />He indicated that the staff recommendation would be to inspect the entire <br />property should the city adopt an inspection program. <br /> <br />He indicated that the staff had begun the process of contacting the real estate <br />industry to initiate talks to discuss the committee proposal. He provided some <br />preliminary information about the scope of project and initial staff analysis. <br /> <br />Jay Trevino indicated that staff would invite real estate industry representatives ~ <br />to next committee meeting to provide direct feedback to the committee. Staff will ....." <br />continue to work on the development of the program and update the committee <br />at the next meeting. <br /> <br />6.
