<br />2. PROPOSED CODE ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS <br /> <br />A hearing has been schedule for January 26 regarding the Casa de Ceramica <br />property at 2541 South Main and 1121 S. Main regarding the banners and <br />unpermitted signs. If there is no compliance after the Hearing, the NV may <br />eventually lead to a criminal case. <br /> <br />...., <br /> <br />Follow-up at 1417 S. Main has also been done. The property owner has been <br />contacted. He is having difficulty evicting the tenant. <br /> <br />Enforcement in the Downtown area continues (4th and Broadway area). <br />Inspector Nunez reports that the business owners of record are being cited. <br /> <br />Committee member Bist requested that Mr. Nunez follow-up on previous Council <br />Requests regarding 304 N. Broadway and 417 N. Broadway. <br /> <br />3. ADAPTIVE REUSE OF SPURGEON BUILDING <br /> <br />No submittals of plans from Jay Meehan at this time. <br /> <br />4. SANTA ANA BOULEVARD RENAISSANCE PROJECT UPDATE <br /> <br />A map of the Santa Ana Boulevard properties was provided and demolition of <br />buildings was discussed. Karen Haluza reported that, of the three proposals <br />received, Moule & POlyzoides Architects has been selected to prepare the Santa <br />Ana Renaissance Specific Plan. A recommendation to the City Council to award <br />a contract to Moule & Polyzoides Architects will be made at the Council meeting <br />on January 17. <br /> <br />...., <br /> <br />Jay Trevino mentioned that staff met with Tom Mauk, County CEO, on January 4 <br />to discuss redevelopment of the Fruit Street County property. It was a very <br />encouraging meeting. <br /> <br />Committee member Solorio departed at 6:16. <br /> <br />5. PROJECT UPDATES <br /> <br />a) 4TH Street Pushcart Status- <br /> <br />Staff visited the manufacturer. Delivery is some time between February and <br />March.
