Following discussion, Councilmembers asked <br />staff to draft an ordinance for review by the Planning Commission. <br />Members suggested that the ordinance require a CUP for any new retail <br />larger than 100,000 sq feet; and include options for economic impact <br />analysis <br /> <br />COMMENTS <br /> <br />90A PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br />Rick Niedermayer thanked the Council for the improvements to the soccer <br />fields in the City and complimented the Parks, Recreation and Community <br />Services Agency for the programs offered to residents in the City <br /> <br />Steve McGuigan announced that the American Cancer Society's Relay for <br />Life would be held at Santa Ana Stadium on the 3rd and 4th of June; he <br />further announced that the Santa Ana Zoo was partnering with Century <br />High School for an event at the Zoo on March 25th from 11 :00 a.m. to <br />2:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Vivek Menta invited the Council to attend the Health Fair at Mater Dei <br />High School on March 25, 2006 <br /> <br />Barbara Lamere and Tom Lamere raised concerns about the placement of <br />new play equipment at Windsor Park <br /> <br />Lisann Martinez addressed the Council with general concerns <br /> <br />90.B.
