<br />Exterior Plaster <br /> <br /> <br />Smooth Stucco <br /> <br />Smooth Stucco <br /> <br />Exterior plaster or stucco is a common surface material of the period revivals such as Spanish <br />Colonial, English and French Tudors. <br /> <br />Design Characteristics <br /> <br />. Stucco is an original feature of some residences in Heninger Park, such as the Spanish <br />Colonial Revival, English and French Tudors, and Prairie Style. <br />. Stucco/plaster should be applied with a hand trowel versus a spray application and should <br />match the appropriate finish of the architectural style. <br />. Paint color should be appropriate to the architectural style of the residence and district. <br />. Exterior plaster has a natural tendency to crack and should be repaired promptly after decay <br />is noticed. <br />. Color pigment should be added to new stucco/plaster when patching or repairing decay on <br />the existing structure. <br />.
